‘Sacrifice’ (2011)
Producer/Writer/Sound Recordist
Sacrifice is a period drama set during World War 2 in Southern France. The film went on to be screened at the Rio Cinema in Dalston, London.
‘Kino Otokonoko’ (Wooden Boy) (2009)
Producer/Writer/Director
‘Ki no Otokonoko’ was my directorial debut and was filmed in Mile End, London in 2009. The film, a Japanese-language thriller about a girl who discovers she is made of wood, was part of the 3rd Babelgum Online Film Festival. The film was also shown at the BFI Southbank in 2010 as part of the NAHEMI ‘Eat Our Shorts’ Film Festival. It has since been broadcast on American cable television.
Student Films - These are the student films I produced as part of my BA (Hons) Film & Broadcast Production course from 2008 - 2011.
‘Eat American’ (2009)
Producer/Writer/Camera/Music
Eat American told the story about the owner of a now (sadly) defunct, highly-regarded burger bar, Cheeky Petes, in Liverpool Street, London. This was a collabrative piece between myself, Michelle Tofi and Niki Mustafa. You really should’ve visited the place, it was amazing.
Economy (2008)
Producer/Co-writer/Camera
Economy is an examination of the beginning of the economic recession in 2008. It followed one female bankers (fictional) description of how her personal and business life had been affected.
