This week I finally finished watching the first series of The Borgias. Jeremy Irons has such incredible delivery. I think he is the reason why Die Hard 3 is my favourite of the trilogy (I refuse to count 4.0 as a Die Hard film, I’m sorry) I wish I spoke like him instead of this mangled, Northern glum I was blessed with. I also thought the three Borgia children were outstanding, Cesare and Lucrezia especially. Their characters go through such a transformation over only a few episodes, but in a very convincing manner.
I need to (finally!) watch Game of Thrones before Season 2 kicks off, but I think I’m much more prepared for it after watching The Borgias, totally.
Other than that? I’m a few pages in to working on something that I don’t immediately want to throw away. I think the hardest part is coming up with unique characters that can play off eachother whatever the scenario, but one must try.
Y’all see that last Everton match? I was so proud of them. I was also very drunk so maybe that was what got me in the mood. So glad Saha has moved on. Useless.
When I startes writing this I didn’t know I’d start on The Borgias and end with Louis Saha. Hmmm…
